All about me

My name is Laura, I am 35, married to Gaz and Mummy to five very special children – Lewis 11, Eva 3, Megan 2, Harrison 1 and Joseph who would have been 9 this year. I share with you the ups and downs of life as a mum of many and the highs and lows of our journey so far.

My blog covers many subjects close to my heart – chronic illness, mental health, baby loss and the subsequent struggle of parenting four young children. I try to make sure that my writing is very honest, albeit sometimes difficult to write, and yet therapeutic to share. I believe that the more people that speak out about such issues and the more awareness that is raised, the less people will feel alone during their own personal struggles.

I love being a mummy and yet pre-children, writing was my first love and now that the children are that little bit older, I am hoping to find more time to claw back that little bit of ME time!! Although my blog is my priority at the moment I am also branching out into copy writing and one day, in the not too distant future, I plan to finally start work on my very first novel. One day……
